I'd stick either with the current version or Дзень проста гаўно :/ to add more emotions

Never heard лайно from native speakers. It seems to be a new word created by hipsters that are too shy to use word which looks much alike russian говно. At the same time, гаўно is a commonly used Belarusian word which is there for ages and has lots of derived words such as: гаўняны, гаўністы, гаўніцца, etc.

Also it might be a calque from Ukrainian language as well
