JHU-ISI Net

Major Hardware

  • BPI-R64 - Banana-Pi router board with MediaTek MT7622 Cortex A53 Quad-Core processor
  • APU4 - APU4 router board with AMD Embedded G series GX-412TC, 1 GHz quad Jaguar core processor
  • RPI4B - Raspberry pi board with Broadcom BCM2711, Quad core Cortex-A72 processor
  • GSS108E - 8-port Smart Managed Gigabit ethernet switch

Support Hardware

  • Mobile cart with surge protection and appropriate shelving
  • USB3.0 Hub (we need one with a lot of ports!)
  • FTDI-USB-Serial - used for BPI-R64s and RPI4Bs
  • SiLabs-USB-Serial - used for APU4s
  • USB micro-SD reader
  • USB to gigabit ethernet adapters
  • USB flash drive (APU4s specifically need Kingston DataTraveler 100 G3 series)
  • 6 Port USB Charging Station (for powering the RPI4Bs)
  • 12V, 8A AC to DC adapters with 5.5(OD)x2.5mm(ID) plug to power APU4s and BPI-R64s
    • 1 5.5(OD)x2.5mm(ID) to 4 5.5(OD)x2.5mm(ID) splitter for the plug
    • Adapters from 5.5(OD)x2.5mm(ID) to 5.5(OD)x2.1mm(ID) (needed for the BPI-R64s)
