This should have no effect on functionality - but ran a BVT 232224 (Dev Run) to be sure. |

Just in my opinion, this commit is simple and has no substantial changes. I'd prefer it goes with the real fast resume PR or into a feature branch. |

We are losing too much knowledge in feature branches that never go anywhere, hence I'd like to merge code that works and leaves hints where to hook into the existing mechanics. |

Define a Recover operation as a hook where a fast resume operation could be added at a later point. This is mostly just to capture code while experimenting with fast resume that can already been merged.
