!race is always true. Did you run go build -race locally for detection? I didn't see corresponding commands in makefile. that's ok, just curious.

BTW, if this is for debug purpose, could we have a section in docs to show this usage? in contribution or developer page

When I run make test-race-condition, it fails for unit test files and after header it works.

Did not get the second question, in makefile we had
test-race-conditioncommand but was not used in CI.
