Summary

This pull request introduces three new cookbooks, to enable development on the OpenAI Deep Research API.

  1. Cookbook on Introduction to the Deep Research API (inclusive of MCP example).
    Anticipated URL: https://cookbook.openai.com/examples/deep_research_api/introduction_to_deep_research_api

  2. Cookbook on how to use the deep research API with the OpenAI Agents SDK (inclusive of MCP example).
    Anticipated URL: https://cookbook.openai.com/examples/deep_research_api/introduction_to_deep_research_api_agents

  3. Cookbook on how to build an MCP server for the Deep Research API to access internal knowledge.
    Anticipated URL: https://cookbook.openai.com/examples/deep_research_api/how_to_build_a_deep_research_mcp_server/README

Registry Updates

  • registry.yaml: Added entries for new examples related to the Deep Research API, including introductions to the API and the MCP server.

Author Information

  • authors.yaml: Added a new author, "Glory Jain," with associated details.

Motivation

This PR is related to the OpenAI Deep Research API release.
