I still am not convinced this is the right solution. The desired level of concurrency can vary between environments, so hard-coding it in the code isn't a good answer. We also generally try to only include in code configuration settings that determine application behavior as opposed to performance, and this seems to be strictly about performance. All that said I'm open to figuring out a better way to address the issue. |
