Description

AIR Blackbox is an open-source, local-first EU AI Act compliance scanner for AI agents. It provides framework-specific trust layers for LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, OpenAI, RAG, and Anthropic with HMAC-SHA256 tamper-evident audit chains, consent gating, and prompt injection detection.

Why Observability Category

  • OpenTelemetry-native telemetry export following GenAI SIG semantic conventions
  • CI/CD integration via GitHub Actions for automated compliance scanning
  • Local-first architecture — code never leaves the developer's machine
  • HMAC-SHA256 audit chains provide cryptographic observability into AI agent behavior

Ecosystem

  • 7 PyPI packages (compliance scanner + 6 framework trust layers)
  • Fine-tuned local compliance model (Llama-based)
  • GitHub Actions CI/CD integration
  • Published RFC-style audit chain specification
  • ISO 42001 + NIST AI RMF compliance mapping

Changes

  • Added AIR Blackbox entry to Observability subcategory in landscape.yml
  • Added SVG logo to hosted_logos/air-blackbox.svg
