LCEfesto was thought to be a simple tool that can solve those classic math and conversion problems that all students engaged in STEM studies face while solving more complicated problems, but without going on the Internet.

As soon as you have opened Efesto you will find yourself in front of this screen:
Here you will have the possibility to choose between two tools button according to your needs :

Mathematics:
Inside the Converter section you can choose from over 176 possible converters, displayed in alphabetical order, including most ISU units and many extra-ISU ones.
The available converters allow conversions for the following physical quantities:
- SI prefixes
- Acceleration
- Angular acceleration
- Corners
- Quantity of information
- Density
- Power
- Force
- Length
- Mass
- Power
- Pressure
- Surface
- Temperature
- Time
- Speed
- Angular speed
- Volume
Inside the Statistics section you can choose from 6 possible combinatorics funtions, displayed in alphabetical order, for the operation that you want to compute.
The possible operations you can choose from are:
- Arrangements Without Repetition
- Arrangements With Repetition
- Binomial Coefficient
- Factorial
- Semi-Factorial
- Symmetric Binomial Coefficient
Inside the Mathematics section you can choose from over 26 possible simple functions, collected in alphabetical order, for the operation that you want to compute.
The possible operations you can choose from are:
- Absolute value --->(Abs)
- ArcCosine --->(Arc Cos)
- ArcSine --->(Arc Sin)
- ArcTangent --->(Arc Tan)
- Cubic root --->(Cube Root)
- Cosine --->(Cos)
- Difference --->(Difference)
- Division --->(Division)
- Exponential --->(Exp)
- 1/Exponential --->(Expm1)
- Natural logarithm --->(Ln)
- Base 10 logarithm --->(Log)
- Hyperbolic cosine --->(Hyper Cos)
- Hyperbolic sine --->(Hyper Sin)
- Hyperbolic tangent --->(Hyper Tan)
- Hypotenuse --->(Hypot)
- Maximum of two numbers --->(Max)
- Minimum between two numbers --->(Min)
- Multiplication --->(Multiplication)
- Denial --->(Negate)
- Power --->(Pow)
- Approximation --->(Round)
- Square root --->(Sqrt)
- Sine --->(Sin)
- Sum --->(Sum)
- Tangent --->(Tan)
To use Efesto correctly, follow these steps:
- Choose the operation/conversion ,in the right section, that you want to carry out by clicking on the homonymous button:
- Enter a valid measure in the input textfield :
- Finally click on the equal button and you will have your result calculated/converted into the answer textfield :
- Optional : you can click on the Ans button to directly copy the result obtained from one operation/conversion into the input textfield ready to perform another operation/conversion :
You can use Efesto whenever you want, simply by cloning this repository and opening it in your IDE, if you have a JDK installed with Version 17 or above.
