If you're working with the Modbus Server node, try to use one READ and one WRITE connection to get more speed.

READ/WRITE connections in flow

Play with the Response Delay to simulate fast or slow device connections for your flow.

Try to setup multiple Modbus Servers - just change the Port (10502, 11502, 12502 ...) to have more than one.
