material theme is incorrect on samsung devices

material theme is broken on samsung devices since one ui 6.0 updates. this is not exclusive to material files other apps are experiencing this too

I'm facing the same issue. The background should look pitch black, but instead it's in a light gray colour. Black Night Mode mode is enabled.

Does the same thing happen in v1.7.1 that hasn't become availble on F-Droid (delay) or Play (they suddenly think QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES isn't okay) yet?

This started happening to me in v1.7.0 from F-Droid. No issues with v1.6.2.

@IamDJR that is a seperate bug and already fixed in 1.7.1 #1151

(I looked at the fix in a linked issue but I didn't see why I should do what's in the fix.)

All Google apps are affected and they are all displayed the default blue color
