[Feature Request]: Playlist loop

In version 30.75 and earlier, playlists would loop when the list came to an end. Now playback stops at the end of the list.

It would be nice if people had the option to change it to their preference.

Add a loop toggle button in Settings/Player/Setup Player Buttons.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I could go back to 30.75 or walk back to my remote when videos stop.

Did you mean this as a bug? I know many are having issues with playback and playlists, Etc.
This feature is available in current releases
Settings > Player > Playback mode
Also there is already an option to change in the Player popup UI, Has an icon with arrows, You can click it and it will change to the same settings I listed above.

I asked if things changed after 30.75 on Telegram. I received confirmation that the playlist videos stop at the end of the list on 21 February.

I guess I am assuming it was changed or fixed and not a new bug. I'll check for a forth time when I get home, but I can't get playlists to loop like they did before.

@TheOtherEtter Did you get this working? Have you checked to make sure the setting is definitely set to loop the playlist?

If so and it's not behaving as expected, this needs reclassifying as a bug.

According to Yuriy L on Telegram, it currently stops at the end of a playlist when set to "Play only playlist videos continuously." On 30.75 and before it looped at the end. Yuriy did not specify if it was a bug or a change. I assumed it was a fixed bug or a change because someone preferred it.

It would be nice if people had the option to change it to their preference. Loop or stop at the end.

Yup, now it stops at the end. This is more natural behavior. Does the loop still needed?

I have music playlists where I pick a song somewhere in the middle and let the list loop until I switch it off. I go to sleep with a medium length playlist of videos. Each night I just pickup where I left off.

A choice of loop or no-loop would be convenient.

There's already an option to do this. Play Only Playlist Videos Continuously. This is what I use and when it gets to the end of the last video it repeats the playlist again.
