Contributor Covenant Code of Conduct

Purpose

This Code of Conduct aims to provide a fair, inclusive, collaborative, and safe environment for everyone participating in open source projects.

Standards of Behavior

Participants should refrain from the following behaviors:

  • Discriminatory remarks or actions based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, religion, nationality, educational background, experience, or any other attributes
  • Harassment, sexual harassment, offensive language, or physical assault
  • Use of inappropriate images, language, or profane expressions
  • Behavior that undermines the trust of the community
  • Disclosing details about another participant’s private life

Responsibilities of Contributors

Contributors are expected to:

  • Show respect and acceptance toward other participants
  • Provide constructive feedback
  • Voluntarily contribute to the community to the best of their ability

Enforcement

When a violation occurs, project maintainers may take appropriate action. Responses may vary depending on the situation and include warnings, reprimands, or temporary exclusion from the community. In severe cases, permanent exclusion may be enforced.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all individuals involved in the project. This includes contributors, maintainers, administrators, and other participants.

Enforcement Guidelines

This Code of Conduct defines a clear process for enforcement. All participants in the project are expected to adhere to it.

If a violation occurs, please report it to the project maintainers.

All reports will be treated confidentially and handled through appropriate procedures.

  • If the violator is a project maintainer, the report should be submitted to another maintainer.
  • The reporter will be informed that the report has been received and may be given updates on its status.
  • Retaliation against reporters is strictly prohibited to ensure that no harm comes to those who report misconduct.

Adherence to this Code of Conduct is crucial to the project. Providing an open, inclusive, and cooperative environment encourages active participation and helps secure the resources necessary to achieve the project’s goals.
