What does the “Auto Download” feature do?

I wanted to download every new media that's loaded in the current tab without me having to open the extension and click download for each media file, and I thought the Auto Download feature would do that, but after trying to turn it on in the extension and via the shortcut, it doesn't do anything.

What's the function of this feature, and is there a way to download every new media that's loaded on to the current tab?

However, please note that all features are only applicable to the current page or the current browser tab, and are not global.

If you open a new tab, you will need to enable this feature again.

Hi, thanks a lot for your reply. It's working well now. Not sure why it didn't work previously.

I have another question: Currently the files are saved in separate folders, is there a setting to have the extension dump the files directly into my Download folder instead?
