Gridplayer freezes after a few hours of video playback

I just discovered this app and I've been testing it for the last couple of weeks. I'm mainly using it to stream live streams from YouTube. The issue is that after approximately 5-6 hours, the videos would freeze and stop playing. If I were to load the streams within a web browser, the videos would play forever. What's going on and what can I do to ensure a longer streaming time?
