Old versions that are not in English will directly redirect to the corresponding English document website, and the translation switch provided on the website will also directly redirect to the latest version website in the corresponding language

Sorry for the massive pings, but since this is translation-related, do y'all have any interest in supporting this? e.g. setting up v6.cn.vite.dev etc. We can start by supporting v6 & v7 only to easily deploy, but will need coordination to set up the v* branches in the respective translation repos. If this feels like a lot of maintenance work, that is also fine.

Some time ago, @patak-dev and I discussed this at Vite Land, and we concluded that implementing it would be costly and difficult to maintain. I still agree with that assessment, but I’m willing to adapt if new guidelines or requirements emerge.

Just my 2 cents: Of course this heavily depends on the number of active translation maintainers. To speak for the german repo at least, IMO this is way too expensive in terms of maintenance, let alone the initial workload. That's opinionated, but I guess much docs could be repititive and I think "if you use v6, why not make the switch to v7?", but I guess all of that depends on how many people use older versions and need non-english docs.
