Do you think upgrading to java 12 will kill it? Do we need to define modules then?

Such a shame. I just started looking into your code. Do you recall if you had done anything for the security part? and another question, was this suppose to work with mysql or redis?

This is standard Spring project, so they take care of security and also provide switching between database systems.
