Ubuntu "A problem has occurred and the system can't recover" input support?

Issue
After updating the system (Ubuntu 22.04) the VM doesn't go past this screen. I've tried to hit CTRL+ALT+F3 but it shows no response to that combination or any other. Perhaps there is a way to send that combination through virtual input, in case it's my physical input. That combination should allow me to enter a menu or console to execute the "rollback" commands.
