Looks like this repo haven't adopted bzlmod the new feature yet. Please refer to: https://bazel.build/external/overview#bzlmod

Since we plan to use bzlmod for external dependency management, is it possible to add bzlmod support for this repo?

bzlmod looks very exciting actually. What would be the steps involved in introducing support for it in bazel-distribution?
