Im new to CNC Im using a Sainsmart Genmitsi 3030Pro with g sender, Vcarve desktop 12, windows 11
I was able to carve 2 small projects but after trying another the machine made a noise and would not move ,after disassembling the machine and cleaning I tried to finish carve I started, with no luck. Some suggestions were to uninstall g sender and try again, I did this and the jogging worked in all directions. However when I tried to probe the machine I kept getting an alarm 4, I manually moved the Z axis and tried again with no success , The error reads G38.2 z-25 F200, from what I can find it should be something different. I know nothing about G code and probally less about computors. I would appreciate any help you can give, Thanks

Alarm 4 is from the probe not triggering whithin the probing distance.
I am not familiar with gSender, in ioSender you can easily check if the probe is working by triggering it manually - when triggered the P "LED" will light up:
If it does not then the probe is not wired correctly or it is faulty.
