I apologize if this is not the correct place to ask, but I was not sure if Discord was the right place to ask, since the discussion becomes disconnected from the repo. I nearly opened a Bug/issue when I remembered "oh yeah, discussions are a thing on GitHub".
Hi, I'm the owner/maintainer of a package called
prettier-config-standard
, though "maintainer" might be a bit generous since it doesn't change a heck of a lot. This module was created 5 years ago to separate concerns fromeslint-config-prettier-standard
, which is about 7 years old at this point.I haven't been able to stay on top of every ESLint and Prettier update and I don't always get it right.
I'd like to pose a question to the JavaScript Standard Style org: Do you want to take ownership of these packages?
It makes sense to me that a sharable Prettier config would be under the same org as the shareable ESLint config. You could publish a
@standard/prettier-config
package and a@standard/eslint-config-prettier
, but that could still lead to confusion in the community when my packages exist, couldn't it?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
