I am writing to propose two essential feature enhancements for stagewise on the GitHub platform. These improvements would significantly benefit users of this software and enhance its overall functionality.

Feature 1: Support for Roo Code Plugin

• Background: Roo Code is one of the most widely-used plugins in the development community. It has a top-tier user base, indicating its importance and popularity among developers.
• Request: I kindly request that the stagewise team officially support the Roo Code plugin. Integrating this plugin would allow users to seamlessly leverage its powerful features within stagewise. This would enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and provide a more cohesive experience for developers who rely on both stagewise and Roo Code.

Feature 2: Browser Console Log Capture and Transmission

• Background: Debugging web applications often requires examining browser console logs. However, manually capturing and sharing these logs can be cumbersome, especially when collaborating with team members or reporting issues.
• Request: I propose that the stagewise team add a feature to automatically capture and transmit browser console logs. This could be integrated into the stagewise interface, allowing users to easily share logs directly from their browser. This feature would significantly simplify the debugging process, improve collaboration, and make it easier to track and resolve issues.

Benefits of These Features

• Enhanced User Experience: By supporting the Roo Code plugin and simplifying console log management, stagewise can provide a more comprehensive and user-friendly environment for developers.
• Improved Collaboration: These features would make it easier for users to share information and work together more efficiently.

About Feature 2: Some more details would be beneficial for us. Answering the following questions would help a lot:

• Would you just like to automatically "include" the console-logs in the prompts you send to Roo Code via stagewise? (If yes, then you're lucky, the feature is already on the way ;))
• Who would like to share console-logs with whom? (Other devs sharing logs with other devs, PMs sharing the logs with devs, ...)

Hey @juliangoetze Thank you for your prompt response! I'm glad to hear that both features are already on your development roadmap.

Regarding Feature 2 (console log capture): Yes, automatically including console logs in prompts sent to Roo Code via stagewise is exactly what I was thinking about! It's great to hear this feature is already on the way.

To clarify what I had in mind for sharing console logs: I was thinking of a feature where users could include customizable instructions along with the logs when sending them to AI through stagewise. For example, when capturing console logs, users could add specific analysis directives (like "analyze for memory leaks" or "identify race conditions") that would be sent together with the log content to the AI. When combined with the selected web elements from the page, this would enable much more precise problem identification and resolution. The AI would then have both the context (instructions), the console logs, and the relevant DOM elements to work with simultaneously.

This approach would make the debugging workflow more efficient by guiding the AI's analysis from the start rather than requiring multiple follow-up prompts. It could be a valuable enhancement for future consideration.

@Bronts, we will release an 0.3.0 alpha today. The release will include a plugin-sdk that let's you write custom-plugins to implement scenarios like this (as well as render your own custom-ui in the toolbar).
