Are the sigils documented?

I've just bitten the rust bullet to install the current StGit, as opposed to the truly ancient version that Ubuntu packages. Looks good so far -- a definite improvement in various ways, from this end user's point of view.

One question, though: are the sigils documented anywhere? The only mention of them that I can find is in the changelog entry for 2.0.0. Is that almost-three-year-old list even still current?
