Is there a way to respond to Apple Pencil double taps?

The v2 apple pencil has a feature that allows double tapping the pencil to swap tools in drawing apps (i.e. freehand to eraser) easily, I don't know if Android has a similar feature but having access to this functionality on iOS would be awesome for any drawing apps. The required legwork seems minimal, if it is something that is in-scope for the project.
