SRTP over SIP

Looking at old issues some say SRTP over SIP is implemented and some say SRTP is ony implemented for WebRTC. Could someone please help me understand if SRTP over SIP works and if so how to use it, any examples? Also if it idoes work does it also work in the version that is in the NuGet package.

The code for SIP +SRTP has been implmented for a while and I have seen other people mention they are using it. I have never had a need to test it myself and there are no examples.

@staxxman, While creating your VoIPMediaSession.
you need to create a rtpSessionConfig like this:

var audioOptions = new AudioSourceOptions { AudioSource = AudioSourcesEnum.Silence };
AudioExtrasSource audioExtrasSource = new AudioExtrasSource(new AudioEncoder(), audioOptions);
audioExtrasSource.RestrictFormats(formats => formats.Codec == AudioCodecsEnum.PCMU);

var rtpSessionConfig = new VoIPMediaSessionConfig()
{
    MediaEndPoint = new MediaEndPoints { AudioSource = audioExtrasSource },
    RtpSecureMediaOption = RtpSecureMediaOptionEnum.SdpCryptoNegotiation,
    
};
var rtpAudioSession = new VoIPMediaSession(rtpSessionConfig);
rtpAudioSession.AcceptRtpFromAny = true;
