Steps to Reproduce

• On Windows Desktop
• Upgrade the flutter SDK to 3.32.2
• open the editor and try to write something

Expected results

Edit text on flutter quill

Actual results

Not enable to add/edit/remove text on the editor

Additional Context

I did downgrade to 3.29.3 and the editor worked correcty

There is indeed such an issue. I encountered it today after upgrading to Flutter 3.32.2. The exception shown in the console is:

This occurs when running a Flutter Windows application after upgrading to Flutter 3.32.2. It seems to be related to the text input handling or platform channel communication, possibly triggered by missing client initialization for input methods.

I've found another flutter issue, that was already solved:
flutter/flutter#169204
and the according fix:
flutter/flutter#169583

Please look at the fix, should be really easy to implement.

I tried the solution from PR #2579, set the viewId, and it solved my problem. I haven’t tried the fix you mentioned though.

All the better! I just saw they had the same issue in base project flutter two weeks ago or so with their default textinput and wanted to give another hint where the error might originate.
Can you estimate, when the PR will be applied?
