MacOS Sonama - "WARNING: Secure coding is not enabled for restorable state!" message

Users running the latest MacOS 14.0 Sonama may notice the following warning when executing PyGPSClient from the command line:

2023-09-29 15:03:50.654 Python[10799:528634] WARNING: Secure coding is not enabled for restorable state! Enable secure coding by implementing NSApplicationDelegate.applicationSupportsSecureRestorableState: and returning YES.

We are looking into this warning, but it does not appear to adversely affect program functionality.
