when you apply a license to a project in the upgrades page, it should restart the project automatically. In fact, it just stops the project (on cocalc.com) and the project doesn't start.

This just seems to be a very confusing bug, especially since it says in bold "Warning: this will cause the project to restart and interrupt any running computations." This is especially confusing because the upgrades displayed at the top don't change until the project starts up again. I think we get at least one support request about this a week.
