"Make-Smaller" or "Make-Larger" revert when dragging window

I like this app.

When I apply ctrl_option_- and ctrl_option_+, "Make-Smaller" and "Make-Larger", they decrement the size of the window by the appropriate Width Step. However, when I click on the top and drag the window (to move it in space), it seems to snap back to the previous size. I haven't noticed this with any of the other window-size-permutations.

Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for letting me know. Indeed this is awkward behavior and I'll plan to adjust it in the next release.

Is it intentional? I'm happy to take a look if you can point towards what the solution might be.

This has actually always been this way (it's not a regression), but it's only intentional in the sense that smaller/larger never had an exception to this behavior. The exception will be added in the unsnapRestore function in the SnappingManager, and I don't mind adding it into the next Rectangle release myself - hopefully out the door next week.
