Bug description

SFX file open failed, when I used BitFormat::Auto, file type is 7z/zip/rar. And use BitFormat::SevenZip/BitFormat::Zip, bit7z can open 7z/zip success.
Is bit7z supprot 7z/zip/rar sfx file, when use BitFormat::Auto?

Is bit7z supprot 7z/zip/rar sfx file, when use BitFormat::Auto?

No, bit7z doesn't currently support automatic format detection of SFX files.

Detecting the actual format of SFX files is more complex than other files, as they don't have the magic number of the format at the start of the file, as most formats do.

I'll add support to SFX file format detection in a future version of bit7z.

Yes, it is.

Please be aware that BitFormat::Rar is for RAR4 archives.
If your SFX RAR file uses the latest RAR5 format, you should use BitFormat::Rar5 instead.
