How can we get the status of redis-cluster instance?

I'm not sure, why when I sue redis cluster, I loose any information/typecheck regarding the isReady etc.
How should we do that?
In addition to that, it seems a lot of functions are not available to redisCluster such as flush etc.? How can we do that?
