Rate limit exceeded after opening app and scrolled for 5 seconds

I was using git hub store 1.4.2

Steps to reproduce the behavior:
I simply opened the store for the first time after downloading from fdroid

Expected behavior
Not for rate limit to be exceeded after literally opening and scrolled down 2 items apx 5 seconds tops. How can this happen?

The main point of bug is I only opened app and scrolled for 5 seconds tops, didnt even click on anything...

Hey @droc007 it is normal / possible behavior not a bug, and this is because of the github's api rate limit, so basically it gives you 60 limit/hour if you are not authenticated and because of the filtering purposes Github Store can even use 60 requests in 5 seconds but not find suitable results to show and this is why you see authentication request

@rainxchzed so how to be? i try to open app adain after few hours and same issue. i can not use it without loggin in?

@iuvi7 sadly you have to login... it is the limitation from the GitHub, if user is not logged in rate limit is 60/hour which is not enough for use this app... But nowadays we are checking the different ways to prevent this... Please stay tuned for the future updates.
