Billing address not updating on card_uppdate page

If you update a stored credit card's billing address from the card_update page it does not change it on Authorize.net.

what is the effect of this? other than matching, is there a financial impact?

my coding has always been to get a token from auth.net; once the merchant has that token, they can use that for charging a card.

if the charge fails due to the wrong address, ok. let's update it. if the AVS does not match and the interchange the transaction clears at is higher, than ok, lets change it.

but if those things do NOT happen, is this really worth wild?
