UX Feat: Submitted Extrinsic History

I find myself so often redoing extrinsics with slighty different parameters. I need to save them in an external tool. How awesome would it be if it would simple local history of the extrinsics I submitted if the current extrinsic is not complete, so the sign and send etc is not active.

Should be super minimalistic and non intrusive. Consider it more like kind of "example extrinsics" you could use to prefill the interface.

Hi @peetzweg, I totally understand the pain point here. We’re currently onboarding Notification Panel feature: #12021. Its primary purpose is to keep track of previously submitted extrinsics, which should help address some of the issues you mentioned — though it may not fully match what you're looking for.

However, this feature can be extended with enhancements like Autofill (which would automatically populate the last submitted extrinsic), could be a nice enhancement for future.

@ap211unitech nice thats an interesting feature. Nice to have the ability to jump to the block it's included in. I think it should also offer a way to copy/resubmit the extrinsic. That would be very similar to what I want for this feature.

It’s actually already there. You might want to check out the video attached in the PR. You can jump to the specific block.

@ap211unitech Yes I noticed that feature. Feels like it should be easy to re open the extrinsic in the extrinsics tab to modify and send it of again. 👍
