Also tested on LibreWolf 137.0.2-1 (Vimium 2.2.1) and same issue; except you have to tab even more times |

Version 1.78.102 Chromium: 136.0.7103.113 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Running i3 on Ubuntu 25.04
Pressing t, the pages/html loads fine, but nothing is selected; if I start typing I'm just in 'Normal mode' and I can't search or type a URL. This forces met to either tab twice; or use a browser shortcut
<C-l>
or<F6>
.Conversely if I instead use the the browser shortcut
<C-t>
I get pages/html with the URL bar and the resource string selected ready to start typing.My suggestion would be to, if it doesn't already exist (see E2), have a command which selects the URL bar, which could globally work, such as
<g-I>
or be set as a website override so that pages/blank.html can have the URL bar selected simply by entering Insert Mode.E: Updated keyboard shortcuts that got eaten as html
E2: I discovered Vomnibar.activateEditUrl by default with
ge
(gE
opens in new tab)Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
