Support email addresses with special characters

In order to authenticate via API key, we need to add the email address as HTTP header. If that email address contains a special character, there might be problems authenticating.

We should:

• check if that is handled by axios
• write a test to verify that it will work in the future (e.g. when we remove axios feat: replace axios with node-fetch #80)
