Regions for AI Gateway from Foundry

Azure API Management (APIM) is available as a first‑class service in the Southeast Asia region, and our intent is to deploy the AI Gateway in the same region to meet data residency and latency requirements. From an architectural standpoint, AI Gateway essentially provisions and operates on top of APIM.

However, when enabling AI Gateway through Microsoft Foundry, the Southeast Asia region is currently not available as a selectable deployment option.

Is there a roadmap or plan to expand AI Gateway regional availability? Alternatively, is there a supported approach to reuse or attach an existing APIM instance as the AI Gateway from these regions till then?
