Hey friends, Foundry Agent Service just hit general availability. Bunch of stuff shipped:

What's new:

• Responses API runtime — wire-compatible with OpenAI agents. If you're already building on Responses, migrating is a small diff.
• Full VNet isolation — no public egress. Covers model calls AND tool calls (MCP servers, AI Search, Fabric). Your CISO will be happy.
• Voice Live (Public Preview) — real-time speech-to-speech plugged directly into your agents. One API instead of stitching STT + LLM + TTS together.
• Evals are GA — built-in evaluators + custom ones + continuous monitoring on live traffic. Pipes into Azure Monitor so you actually know when things degrade.
• MCP auth — key-based, agent identity, managed identity, and OAuth passthrough (agent acts as the user). All in one service.
• 6 new regions — East US, North Central US, Sweden Central, Southeast Asia, Japan East, more coming.
• Open model support — run GPT, Llama, Mistral, DeepSeek, whatever. Mix and match. Use LangGraph, LangChain, or go direct. Runtime handles the rest.
