Can manual annotations layer be used for SAM3 segmenting

Hello!

Can a manual annotation layer (points, or polygons) be used to better segment a type of object that i want?

For example, imagine that i have 100 tree crown segmented and i want to segment all other trees in that image, can i use that layer (or their individual bounding box) as training samples?
