I’d like to share a suggestion that could enhance the flexibility of agent-based prompt systems.

In many environments, system prompts are widely used to set foundational instructions. It would be highly beneficial if future versions allowed for dynamic variables within the agent configuration. Specifically, the ability to programmatically inject elements such as the current date, custom phrases, or environment variables into the prompt context would significantly improve adaptability and automation.

A feature like this—supporting variable placeholders that are resolved at runtime—would enable more responsive and context-aware agent behavior.

Thanks for the suggestion. We don't have any immediate plans to add this feature, as we'd like to maintain the simplicity of this SDK. For now, I recommend creating an Agent instance for each request. Creating an Agent instance isn't resource-intensive, so customizing the system prompt by adjusting the dynamic variables as needed is the easiest way to achieve your goal.
