In the Rust community, we generally publish our work on https://crates.io/, not brew or npm.
Has OpenAI considered following Rust practices?

By the way, crates.io uses a first-come, first-served policy for package names.
If there's any chance that codex-rs will be released on crates.io in the future, please consider publishing a pre-release version as soon as possible.
Even if it's just to reserve the name, it's still worthwhile.
