How to debug timeouts

The basic issue is that for certain urls, node has a timeout.
This happens only with node 18 & 19, with node 16 everything works.

Not working urls (receive timeout):

• https://npm.pkg.github.com/-/v1/login
• https://npm.pkg.github.com
• https://api.figma.com/v1/
• https://duckduckgo.com

Working urls (receive 200):

• https://example.org
• https://www.google.com

Thinks tried

• I downloaded the raw binaries from https://nodejs.org/dist/ but that still had version 16 working and 18 not. Tried both arm and x86 bins, same result
• In a docker container everything is fine, version 16 and 18 work
• curl or my browser can both perfectly reach the urls that are timing out

I'm kind of desperate at this point, if anyone has an idea how to solve/debugg this I'd be incredibly thankfull. The issue came up as i could not download private packages from github, and discovered this incredibly werid thing

So i discovered this was due to a ipv6 only connection
