Auth in Websocket Upgrade Handler

Hey! I'm trying to figure out how to handle authentication properly during the WebSocket upgrade request. I assumed upgrade requests would go through the same pipeline as normal event handlers (middlewares and plugins), so that my auth plugins would run as usual but it looks like they’re bypassing that.

Are there plans for the upgrade requests to get the same treatment or maybe the event that we are getting in the crossws' upgrade hook be an H3 event for example?

(currently on nitro 2.11.6, cloudflare-pages preset)
