I guess it is somehow dead. Some time ago I decided to use vim for a while to get inspiration.
I wanted to do everything in Clojure, a closed system like Emacs and Elisp.
Using vim combined with tmux, it turned out, that with a few adjustments I could do exactly what I wanted with Clojure, except that it worked for anything I could do on the command line, including Clojure. The need for fiddling with my text editor was more an idea rather than a need.
Since I had also given up finding a Clojure based job, and therefore was "forced" to use other languages, the vim/tmux combination suddenly came in very handy. And so my motivation for working on Liquid was reduced.
My dream of Liquid is nice in a world with only Clojure. First recently I actually understood the powerfulness of considering the command line a "language" supporting any language.
So, yes. My incitement to continue Liquid is limited, and I, myself, is probably the most surprised.
(It is also my impression that it is not used seriously by many.)
