While trying to run the project locally, i received and error : "Cannot convert undefined or null to object"

you are asking me to "Do you mind placing your docs.json and MDX files inside of the docs folder and then configuring a monorepo from the dashboard ", but how can i know/test that I'm not going to break the online docs.

I had that same issue, and I solved it deleting the project from my local and re cloning it from my github repository (I had some file breaking it locally but was ignored by .gitignore file because I didnt see any change in main branch) try that an let me know if it works for you
