[Bug]: Can copy-paste-delete & drag-drop but can't cut-paste

Distribution Type

Downloaded directly from the website (including Brew)

Expected Result

Edit -> Cut is not greyed out

Actual Result

Edit -> Cut is greyed out

Steps to reproduce

1. Select a file ;
2. Open the Edit menu ;
3. See Copy is not greyed out ;
4. See Cut is greyed out.

Hi,

Cut-paste workflow is not supported in Nimble Commander.
What you can use instead is something close - copy and move (Cmd+C, Alt+Cmd+V).
If anybody wants to implement cut-paste though - PRs are welcome!

What you can use instead is something close - copy and move (Cmd+C, Alt+Cmd+V).

I'm trying out alternative file managers precisely because I want my well-established workflows back so I can regain productivity following a forced adoption of Mac at the office (Linux user here).

Why does the menu item exist at all then ?

It's a standard item for Mac's "Edit" menu.
In some contexts, e.g. in text controls, this action does work.
