Lost inbuilt terminal access after updating to 15.5

After upgrading to 15.5 lost access to the inbuilt terminal (see the screenshot)
Updated to nightly build - Version 1.8.0 (4252) - same thing. Screenshot is actually taken with the nightly build.
The terminal points to /bin/bash.
Full disk access is granted.
What else I might be missing?

I don't think you're missing something - likely MacOS 15.5 changed/broke something.

I've updated my Mac to 15.5 and the built-in terminal still works expected, i.e. there's something else in play.
If you enable logging for the term subsystem - do they show anything interesting?
Alt+Help -> Debug -> Show Logs...

1\ The term debug is empty. Nothing there
2\ When I try to exit Nimble - it says "The window has running operations. Do you want to stop them and close the window?"
So looks like something is running in the background, possibly in the terminal (testing on 1.7.0 though)

OK, mea culpa - a recently tool added itself into .bashrc AT THE TOP. Removed the tool, all good.

Oh, so a program has been running infinitely inside the bash initialization script?

How useful would be feedback on 1.8.0?
Should I be reporting it?
For example - in the new version the Panel wide mode (where I have only name and size) does not take up all the space of the panel. It literally hides the column when unselected, but does not reclaim the space

IIRC there was a change in the logic of how the column widths are recalculated, you can check the history.

Any feedback is welcome, though, frankly, it'd be great to see contributions beyond feature requests and bug reports (which are often also feature requests).

Totally get it.
Unfortunately I am not in that space of development and currently just cannot start learning.

What I can do is to buy it again or support financially (actioned).
