Any conclusions or takeaways from this project about using TypeScript for embedded?

Just to add some context. I'm starting a new language project targeting embedded systems. The language is derived from TypeScript and I was hoping for some lessons learned from trying to bring TypeScript to this world.

I think it's cool as a hobby project, but didn't have enough business potential of any kind to sell it at Microsoft. Also, it's a bit unclear how many TS devs want to do embedded (note that they are vastly on frontend side, not node servers).

Yes, I see your point. Among popular modern languages, I think TypeScript is the only reasonable choice as a base language to start from.
