Description
Type: Bug
I have a number of git workspaces cloned from github repos. When I open any of them in remote WSL2 mode in VS Code and click the fetch button in Git Graph, it needlessly asks for user name and password and then fails the authentication.
VS Code's own source control fetch works fine (doesn't ask for credentials), as does "git fetch" on the command line, and when I open the same workspaces in native Windows mode, then Git Graph fetch also works fine.
I'm not sure when this issue appeared, but it did once work.
By the way, I'm seeing the same issue on a completely different setup where it's a real remote workspace instead of WSL2, but I only recently started using that with github, so I've never seen that work.
This may be related to #672 although that one specifically mentions Gitlab.
