Thanks for testing the alpha!! Would you be able to get the debug logs from the CLI? https://flasher.meshtastic.org/ --> Open Serial Monitor |

I ended up reflashing it to the latest to see what if that fixed the stability issue. I have had a single reboot but I will do it from the CLI next time I have something come up. I attempted to plug it in during the reboot loop but it resolved itself before I was able to do that. |

On new firmware, 580fa29, device still occasionally undergoes reboot loop. I scrambled to my computer to get the logs but as soon as I plug it in, the reboot loop stops. I cannot get logs from serial during the reboot loop. Unfortunately, I don't have enought time to just sit at my computer and babysit the serial console and figure out why. |

Thanks for the report. If the reboots stop when you plug it in, is it possible that there's a power issue (brownout?) with the device? |

I believe that is highly unlikely considering it will work most of the time. The interval between this happening and having it work just fine seems like brownout is unlikely. Not ruling that out. I will try a different battery but my other heltec v4 is doing the same thing. I guess it isn't unreasonable to believe it could be a hardware problem too. Right now, I have it plugged in and I've decided to camp at my computer for a bit to see if I can get it to do it again as well. Edit: Is there a way to pull logs not on USB power? |

Maybe over a serial line, but we're getting beyond my knowledge -- #firmware on discord has the experts... |

Is this bug report about any UI component firmware like InkHUD or Meshtatic UI (MUI)?
Firmware Version
2.7.13. 35fa418
Description
Was messaging with the radio and changed to the connect page because it was behaving oddly and was jittery and niticed that it kept trying to connect then would time out, then try again and then time out. Checking the radio revealed that it was booting up repeatedly and crashing. Attempted to get serial console log but only managed to get in app log.
