Is this bug report about any UI component firmware like InkHUD or Meshtatic UI (MUI)?

Description

The GPS (GNSS) signal won't update.
So far I've tried using firmware-versions:
2.6.4.b89355f
2.6.8.ef9d0d7

For both versions I have tried to set the RX pin to 44 and TX pin to 43 and 46 trying the fix here, but with no luck.

This sounds like this is related to your channel precision settings and not the GPS itself.
There shouldn't be any need to change the GPS GPIO pins as by default the pins are set to match the hardware. I suggest you just take a look at the debug log instead and post it under "Relevant log output" above.
